June song

Did you see Eurovision Contest 2018?

Look at me, I’m a beautiful creature
I don’t care about your “modern-time preachers”
Welcome boys, too much noise, I will teach you
Pam pam pa hoo, Turram pam pa hoo

Hey, I think you forgot how to play
My teddy bear’s running away
The Barbie got something to say: Hey! Hey! Hey!
Hey! My “Simon says” leave me alone
I’m taking my Pikachu home
You’re stupid just like your smart phone

Wonder woman, don’t you ever forget
You’re divine and he’s about to regret
His baka-bakum, bak-bak bakumbai…

I’m not your toy
You stupid boy
I’ll take you down
I’ll make you watch me
Dancing with my dolls
On the MadaBaka Beat
Not your toy!

                                                 A-A-A-Ani Lo buba!
Don’t you go and play with me boy!
                                              A-A-A-Ani Lo buba!
Don’t you go and play… Shake!
Kulului, Kulului, Ah, wedding bells ringing
Kulului, Kulului, Ah, money man bling-bling

Netta will represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with her song “Toy” — a freestyle, Mediterranean women’s anthem with Oriental / Mizrachi sounds. She’s unleashed a chicken cluck heard round the world

1st GRADERS

During these weeks, in 1st we have been using SHAPES.
First, our conversation assistant told our students a tale about them. The tale's name is SHAPES ARE EVERYWHERE!

The sun is a circle,
the table is a square,
the door is a rectangle,
the kite is a diamond,
a melon slice is a triangle,
an egg is an oval,
a cookie is a star
and a heart is the shape I love to find!

After learning shapes vocabulary, our students have drawn their own monters using them.

5th GRADERS

Not only little children are learning through phonics. Our 5th graders are also reviewing and learning new sounds and their alternatives.
We compare two different graphemes with the same sound, as for example /ee/ and /ea/.
We teach them new ending sounds as /tion/.

Every single week, they have to look for words that contain the correspoding sound creating a personal handout.

Our aim is to make them easier the hard task of reading and writing in English.

PARTS OF THE HOUSE

In 2nd grade, we have also been working with the parts of the house.
First, we reviewed the animal vocabulary, and we made oral and written sentences using both topics.
Besides this, we have introduced the verb TO BE in singular and plural forms.

For example:
The crocodile is in the bedroom.
Crocodiles are in the bedroom.

2nd GRADERS

Hello again!

We have been off for some weeks, but we have been working a lot.
Last week, we were preparing the Sustainable School Confint and we couldn't publish anything on our blog. But...we are back again.

We are going to show you, how our second grade students are proffesional readers.
We were practising the sound "W" and we used a famous TONGUE TWISTER a bit confusing to read.
But they did  GREAT!

Here you have some videos to prove how wonderful they are!!!

MAY SONG

This song is going to be sang in the GRADUATION FESTIVAL.
Can you help them to sing it?

                  THE WALL
We don't need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall. (bis)
