6th level: 16th February EXAM

Hello!!!
This Friday, we have the exam. We are in unit 5 and it is about PAST: WAS/WERE but we have also learnt There was/There were, and the SUPERLATIVE adjectives.

For the exam, we have to know:
  • NUMBERS (1-9,999); ORDINAL AND CARDINAL
  • VOCABULARY: MYTHICAL CREATURES (parts of the animals body) 
  • VOCABULARY: ADJECTIVES (2 columns)
  • GRAMMAR STRUCTURE: Past of the verb TO BE - WAS/WERE
    • Saxon genitive: lion's head , eagle's wings
    • Description using vocabulary and grammar.

  • GRAMMAR STRUCTURE: There is/There are - There was/There were
    • COUNTABLE NOUNS : 
      • Singular: + There is/There was a/an ...
      • Singular: - There isn't/There wasn't a/an ...
      • Singular: ? Is there /Was there a/an ... ?
      • Plural: + There are/There were some ...
      • Plural: - There aren't/There weren't any ...
      • Plural: ? Are there /Were there any ... ?
    • UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS:
      • + There is/There was some ...
      • - There isn't/There wasn't any ...
      • ? Is there /Was there any ... ?
  • GRAMMAR STRUCTURE: Superlative adjectives
    • If the adjective is SHORT: THE _____EST
    • If the adjective is LONG: THE MOST ________

This was a mythical creature.
On the mythical creature there were three different animals: a lion, an eagle and a hen. 
There were hen's claws and eagle's wings.
There was lion's half body and eagle's half body.

Complete with the superlative:
- Whales are the heaviest (heavy) animals in the world.
- Sharks are one of the most dangerous (dangerous) animals in the world.

What's the adjective?
-A person who is lovely: CARING
- A person who talks a lot: TALKATIVE
