As you can see in the pictures, these days our 4th, 5th and 6th students have been little scientists. We have worked with Shelly, our conversation assisstant, and how to do an experiment and its procedures (steps).
In that case, we have proved that eggs can float.
Can eggs float? What do you think?
At the beginning, we thought that eggs couldn't float but then, after seeing the experiment, we have noticed that if we add salt to the water, the egg finally floats. That's because the water increases its density thanks to the salt.
It has been a very fun and interesting experiment.
At the end of the activity, we have filled an "experiment report" as if we were real scientists.
Como podéis ver en las fotos, estos días nuestros alumnos de 4º, 5º y 6º han sido pequeños científicos. Hemos trabajado con nuestra auxiliar de conversación Shelly, como hacer un experimento y los pasos que hay que seguir.
En este caso, hemos comprobado que los huevos pueden flotar.

Al principio, nosotros pensábamos que no podían, pero después de ver el experimento, nos hemos dado cuenta de que si añadimos sal al agua, el huevo al final flota. Esto se debe a que la densidad del agua aumenta gracias a la sal.
Ha sido muy divertido e interesante.
Al final de la actividad, hemos rellenado un informe como si fuéramos científicos de verdad.
